July 4th Flooding: Help Us Support Impacted Families Across Texas
While much of the media attention has focused on flooding in the Hill Country, another Texas community has quietly been enduring devastating losses—San Angelo region. The July 4th storms caused severe flooding across the region, impacting around 2,000 homes in San Angelo and nearby communities.
As Houstonians, we understand the devastation that follows flooding all too well. We know that disaster doesn’t just damage homes—it disrupts lives, displaces families, and drains hope. Right now, San Angelo region families are mucking out homes, salvaging what they can, and beginning the long road to recovery.
How You Can Help
In the coming weeks and months, San Angelo will need boots on the ground—volunteers to help with rebuilding and skilled labor to help restore homes. But they will also need resources:
Drywall
Paint
Insulation
Screws
Tools
Financial support for families without a safety net
Right now, San Angelo and nearby communities have received very little public support, and they’ve asked us to hold off on sending in-kind donations for now. The most urgent need today is funding to help lay the foundation for what’s ahead.
Give Today to Support Recovery
We are encouraging our TRT family to step up and support the San Angelo Area Foundation’s flood recovery fund. Your financial contribution will directly support families in crisis and help rebuild homes for those who have lost so much.
